Observing the Particles Universe

The GAE-UCM group studies the most energetic processes in the universe: the ones produced by the high energy particles which constantly arrive to planet Earth. We develop instruments to dectect them, hence we can understand the events in remote places: Pulsars, Supernovas and Galaxies with very massive black holes.

We are a group of about 20 people, at the Atomic,Molecular and Nuclear Physics Departament at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. We work in two main fields: High Energy Cosmic rays and Gamma Rays, Click the pictures below to select one of the sections.
